This guide provides step-by-step instructions for updating patient details in CareXP, including how to edit contact information, IDs, and other demographic information.
Note: If your clinic is integrated with an EMR, all updates should be made there.
Steps:
1. From any page, type the patient's name, MPI, or email in the top search bar
2. Select the intended patient from the results
3. Select the “Edit” button on the bottom left-hand side of the patient record
4. Edit the information on the right-hand panel:
- Patient ID (or MRN)
- Personal ID (optional)
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Email Address
- Phone Number
5. Click “Save” to update
