Transition FAQs
Q: What is CareXP?
A: CareXP is the latest operating system version of the EngagedMD platform. This version allows clinics to benefit from enhanced functionality, enabling our product team to deliver features faster than we could on our current system. With CareXP, new and updated features will be available as we continue to enhance our platform.
Q: Will there be downtime the night of my transition?
A: Yes, for a brief period after 8pm local time, the application will be unavailable
Q: Will my EMR integration continue to work as usual?
A: Nothing on your end will change during the migrations and there will be no disruption to your operations or processes. CareXP will continue to reflect information consistent with the source of truth in your EMR.
Q: Will my clinic's modules, including MedReady and Cooper work in CareXP?
A: Yes - all modules and forms, including MedReady and Cooper will be transitioned to CareXP.
Q: Will my Packets be available in CareXP?
A: Yes, packets will now be called "Bundles" and you will be able to add modules if needed.
Q: Will the patient experience change?
A: EngagedMD has updated the look and feel of the platform’s patient interface to enhance the way patients experience the care journey. Patients will now see assignments, such as eLearn modules and eSign forms, that they need to accomplish and track tasks that have been completed within a checklist.
