Admins are able to reassign open form assignments to any active staff members within the staff portal. This can be helpful to ensure the assignment progress continues if a staff member leaves the clinic or will be out of office. Reassignments must be done prior to inactivating a staff member profile or the profile cannot be deactivated. Forms that have markup enabled can not be reassigned - they must be voided and re-sent manually to staff users.
What do I do?
To reassign an assignment to a different staff member, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Admin > Users section of the portal.
- Select the staff member with the current assignments
- Click on the “Reassign” button.
- Select the new staff member you want to reassign the assignments to, click the box to confirm the workflow and the Save button.
The reassignment status will be shown and once complete the reassignment details (assignment name, reassigned staff member, reassigned date, and status) can be viewed under the “Reassigned” tab with the staff user profile.
For assignments within the “Failed to Reasssign” tab, please contact the EngagedMD Support Team to address those assignments.
