Overview
When a change needs to be made to the clinic staff member or doctor who was originally supposed to sign a Form, the change can be made within the patient record by the staff user.
Steps:
- Search for the patient record.
- Select the Form needed under the “Assignments” tab.
- Within the “Form Details” screen, choose the original staff member’s name in the signing order.
- Choose the new signer from the dropdown menu. The options are all staff members or doctors who are able to clinically review a form.
- Click “Yes, change signer” to confirm the action.
Notes:
- Staff can also navigate to the Form assignments through “Care” > “All Assignments” > “Forms to Sign” to search for team members with pending Forms (i.e., when managing Forms when team members are out of office).
- The clinical reviewer cannot be changed on a form after the document mark up has been initiated.
